Needed More Research

The author claimed the book was written without bias but it had a definite British slant since the author had spent many years in the British army. While the photos were interesting, the author had many of them mis-labeled. For instance he had a photo of Joe McCann labeled as a member of the provisional IRA when he had actually been in the official IRA. A photo labeled as "an IRA sniper" was in reality a photo of Joe McCann, a rather famous photo of him. The most glaring was a photo labeled as being some of the men who died on hunger strike in 1981. Not one single man was part of the 1981 hunger strike. They were all men who had been part of the 1980 hunger strike and not a single man died on that hunger strike. These may seem to be minor mistakes but when you are buying a book for historical information, you don't expect to find mistake after mistake that could have been avoided with just a few minutes extra research.
