This is not so much a how to guide, as it is an illustration of some of the best storyboarding for animation imaginable. One aspect that this book does teach, that most others don't, is coloring.

The Lost Art of Storyboard

The Art of Storyboard by Don Bluth is an amazing book. I absolutely love it. This book goes into the depth of animation and it is a must have for all artists and writers. Reading this book has helped and inspired me with the motivation in pursuing my art. It is very helpful in building your characters and creating your storylines. I love this book and would highly recommend this to artists such as writers, illustrators, and aspiring animators! If I could give it more stars I definitely would!

Don Bluth's Storyboarding Book

Admittedly, I was drawn to the book (no pun intended) from the many hours I spent as a child playing the animated game, Dragon's Lair. The book is great for the examples that it provides from Bluth's studio animations -video games and feature film animations. It provides great insight into the process, although you can tell that it is a little dated in technique (computer references are a little lean). But the drawings, pages and pages of storyboards, and the transcripts from pre-production conversations are invaluable for providing creative insight. I would highly recommend this book to accompany other materials on the storyboarding process (such as Storyboarding Design Course by Giuseppe Cristiano). This is a great book and a has a wealth of content.Don Bluth's Art Of Storyboard

I finished this book within 2 hours. The highlights would have to be her favourite recipes and fitness exercises. The rest of the topics were very general. The slang dictionary gives a few laughs. Inside the book, the text is black on white paper and the photos included are also in black and white. If I were ever to look back at the book, it would be for the recipes or fitness exercises. This book would be good for someone who is soon to be going out in the clubbing world, so it gives them preparation on which type of male groups they will come across. She didn't really explain how to handle males in different situations and expected more from this book. Other than that it was a good price, so can't complain.

Brilliant - Worth my time

I was never a Jersey Shore fan up until last summer. And I was immedialty hooked and JWOWW caught my attention right away. They don't sell her book where I'm from, so as soon as I purchased my Kindle, I bought the book. And I fell in love with it pretty much from page one. I read it twice in a matter of a week and I would totally read it over and over again. I got good tips that I would have never thought of but some of her tips are a no brainer. So if your a girl with no boyfriend and whatnot and would like to get some tips on how to hook up with a mint guy, how to get all dolled up to go to a club, how to take care of your body, etc., I would totally recommand this book to you. Kudos to you JWOWW!

So yes, I bought this book a while back and forgot to review it oops! This is a good book, everything is very helpful and easy to find.
I can't remember specifics because it has been so long but I do remember I read it in a few days and found it to actually be a very good funny book.

Good basic book to have.

Good starter book for the new fan of British sports cars from the post war until the smog requirements hit them hard. The sales levels in the US picked the Brisitsh auto industry sports cars winners and losers. The pictures make you want to buy an old Bristish sports car,but the reality of the poor reliablity always kicks in.

This is the reality of swinging. Most swingers are thought to be young and beautiful. The people in these photographs are older and mostly average looking. They are your friends and neighbors (yes, even if you go to church).

I thought the book was realistic and true to life. If you want to look at beautiful people having sex try porn. If you want to know what swinging is, then this is the book.

It's an interesting book, but feels to me as though the author was trying to portray the subject matter as seedier and a little grotesque. Is though the white-trashiest of imagery shows through most prominently. Other than that, an interesting study of the swing lifestyle. Not for the faint of heart! :-)

Not usable as support for study of ITIL

The ITIL Foundation Handbook reads like a personal summary of someone studying the slides from the ITIL Foundation training. It is a subset of such slides. It can be used as a small list of topics that are discussed during an ITIL Foundation training or in ITIL study books. It is not by itself a book that can be read or used as a useful reference.

Ordered this pocket book to be aware of potential alternatives to the "Official Introduction to the ITIL Service Lifecycle" book which we currently use as a support for our ITIL Foundation training classes. We use the Introduction book (the other one) as a short readable reference for people who want to get back into the storyline of the training, for the glossary and for the sample process flow diagrams. None of these things are in this Foundation Handbook, which in fact turns out not to be a real handbook but rather an outline of topics discussed in the ITIL Foundation training.

The name says it all. A great intro to SQL.

This is a great alternative to the SQL "Bibles" out there. The book takes a very practical, top-down look on how SQL works, by taking a core set of common types questions asked of relational databases, and shows you how to do it. The most likely use of this book is to read it the whole way through, in sort of a text-book fashion.

Excellent SQL Intro for Developers

To fully understand this book you need a fairly good grounding in set theory and programming. If you have this background and are looking for a quick into to SQL, this book is excellent. It is a very short book and a very quick read. It is not a SQL reference book. In a few hours it will give you a very good understanding of SQL.
Ideal for programmers who need to quickly learn SQL. Not so good for those with a fair amount of SQL experience or those looking for in-depth information.
I had to buy a second copy of this book becuase people borrow it so often that I can never find it.
