author accused of child abuse and pathological lying, not sure the accusations are correct, but they worry me

Read up on this guy. He is accused of being a liar and sadist, and he was sent to jail. This doesn't mean he's guilty, of course. But at the same time I feel sad for him I also have a hard time supporting his work even though his ideas are interesting. He doesn't have any footnotes or citations in his book, so it's hard to trace his assertions. Example: his story of George Rodonaia is different from the original Atwater account and I tend to trust her version, since she says she checked it with Dr. Rodonaia personally.
Anyway, it's hard to be a person, but I wish child abuse was not a solution people used for that difficulty.

Don't waste your money on this one.

This book is not worth reading. I liked his first book on NDE's, Where God Lives. Then I bought his second book on NDE's and thought it was okay. Then I bought this one. This book struck me as nothing more than an attempt to milk a topic he'd already covered in the first two books. He had nothing new to say and I found it useless. Then came the publicity about Morse being accused of water boarding his daughter. Then he was convicted. Google "Melvin Morse, MD" and read about this character for yourself. Don't waste your money on this useless book.

Enjoy book.

Read this book very good, a lot of opinion from those that have NDE.
Found parts about what happened the same as other books.
To many opinions about what they believe is god and what he said was a little to believe.
GOD asking them why did you do that which lead you to have a NDE.
God would KNOW if you follow the belief that GOD is the creator of all thing,he wouldn't have to ask you why
HE would know.
